You Will Use A World-Class, Internationally Recognised Program
The CrossFit strength and conditioning program was developed by Coach Greg Glassman to enhance your competency at all physical tasks. CrossFit training is not only safe, but highly effective and efficient.

During each session, you will perform constantly varied, functional movements, executed at a high intensity.
You Will Perform Primal Movement Patterns & Compound Movements
At Ultimate CrossFit Perth you will work exclusively with primal movement patterns, compound movements and shorter, high intensity cardiovascular sessions. The lateral raise has been replaced by the push press, the bicep curl with pull-ups, and the leg extension with squats. Instead of performing long distance efforts, you will do five or six at short distance.
Why?
Because compound or functional movements and high intensity or anaerobic cardio is radically more effective at eliciting nearly any desired fitness result.
This will lead you to a more balanced and complete fitness across the ten recognised fitness domains; Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

Your training will incorporate movements from a wide range of disciplines and sports to help you reach your highest potential. We borrow from Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Kettlebells, Gymnastics, Mixed Martial Arts, Strongman training, Plyometrics, Track & Field and Rowing.

Can’t do a pull-up? That’s fine, we can substitute body rows or assisted pull-ups until we’ve got you ripping off sets of 10-20 pull-ups.
Ultimate CrossFit Perth will get you to a point where you will be fit enough and competent enough in the movements to perform the crossfit.com workout of the day (WOD) on your own.

You will be coached in three levels of CrossFit movements; basic, intermediate and advanced, introducing you to the world famous "Girls" and other benchmark workouts.
You will be taught about scaling workouts to your abilities, substituting exercises when you need to, and what equipment you will need to perform CrossFit workouts and if you want to, develop your very own world-class CrossFit strength & conditioning facility in your garage or spare room!

Please note: I will not train Globo-Gym personal trainers who think CrossFit is something cool they can take back to their facility and train their cleints with. Doing a few WOD's and buying a t-shirt does not make you a CrossFit trainer. Unfortunately, due to the increasing popularity of CrossFit, a few of these pretenders have popped up. If you're training with a Globo-Gym trainer who is giving you some form of workout they are calling CrossFit, stop wasting your time and please stop before you get hurt. Ultimate CrossFit Perth is the only CrossFit Affiliate in Western Australia and the only place you will get a real CrossFit experience, true to the CrossFit prescription. If you're a Globo-Gym Personal Trainer, take the time to learn about CrossFit, read all the Journals, attend a Level 1 Cert and most importantly; get involved in the CrossFit community. Once you know a bit about CrossFit and are a part of the community, maybe then I'll help you out. Not before. And trust me, you will be tested.
